WHO ARE WE?

BRYMMO, a reliable and independent real estate agency in the canton of Vaud

Founding a reputable real estate agency in the canton of Vaud—an agency you are proud to recommend to your friends—was the simple ambition and primary motivation of Jonathan Pfister. The exciting journey of professional independence, after five years working for major Swiss real estate groups, was the next step. Jonathan took the leap in 2018 by founding BRYMMO, an independent, human-scale real estate agency that delivers tailor-made services to its clients.

We met him in Lausanne for a brief tea break at the Saint-François kiosk :

The journey of a local talent : human-scale real estate

Managing family properties : the seed was planted!

The foundations of a building are always hidden, yet they determine its solidity and longevity. What are the deep foundations of your real estate agency—the seed of your professional project?

“I grew up in French-speaking Switzerland, between Geneva and the beautiful winter resort of Saint-Cergue in the canton of Vaud. My vocation was born within my family:  some relatives own real estate in Spain, which I have been managing for them for about ten years.

I always say that I gained my first real estate experience in the best possible way  : by serving those I love. Naturally, I wanted to extend that personal touch to the clients of my own agency.”

Placing quality as a priority— quality of service and human contact, mutual respect —did not allow me to remain long in the large corporate real estate groups. There, quantity comes first ! The initial standard I set for myself, this vision of authentic, tailored service, could only be realized in independent real estate.

Salaried real estate agent: a formative baptism by fire

“I suppose your first steps as a real estate agent were not wasted?”

No professional or personal experience is ever wasted! My roles in major multinationals (IBM, Nestlé, Philip Morris) not only strengthened my CV but also allowed me to develop solid skills in management, communication, and negotiation—essential to serving my clients well.

Shortly after founding my real estate company, I sought to deepen my knowledge of rental real estate by joining Régie Galland in Lausanne in 2020 and 2021. My experience in large speculative real estate groups complemented my practical training…and confirmed my positioning!

Professional ethics :  quality over quantity

BRYMMO Real Estate: tailor-made support

“What sets your agency apart from the competition today?”

“The human scale of my independent agency allows for a personalized approach. This tailor-made support helps me build client loyalty and a climate of trust. Trust is only possible if I guarantee complete transparency to my clients, with no evasions.

By prioritizing quality, I limit the volume of real estate transactions to maintain responsiveness appreciated by both sellers and buyers. A reliable, honest real estate agency, known for its flexibility, relevant advice, and expert knowledge—that is the standard I aim for!”

A trustworthy agency for a long-term network

“Do you follow a professional ethic that you never deviate from?”

“Yes, I adhere to a professional ethic based on transparency, listening, honesty, and keeping commitments. I prioritize healthy and lasting relationships with clients and partners alike. This is how a strong, lasting network is built.

I refuse compromises that contradict my values or the trust placed in me. Long-term vision is essential, and I always prioritize quality over quantity.”

Continuous real estate training + high-tech tools = efficient, organized agent

Federal diploma as a real estate valuation expert: the icing on the cake!

“So your training was mostly on-the-job?”

“No, the theoretical side was not neglected! I trained in sales, earned a Bachelor in Economics, followed by HEC Lausanne.

  • In 2019, I completed the Immo-Start program from USPI Formation, gaining fundamental theoretical knowledge of the real estate sector.
  • In 2022, the Immo-Courtage training consolidated essential brokerage skills: client support, market understanding, and technical mastery.
  • In 2023, I focused on property valuation, completing a demanding 18-month training, earning the Federal Diploma as a real estate valuation expert in 2025.
  • In 2025, I plan to pursue the Property Manager Federal Diploma to expand my services and offer full rental management for my clients.

And I won’t stop there! Continuous training is essential in real estate.”

Real estate software and high-tech tools at the service of your sales and rentals

“What modern tools and technologies do you use daily?”

“As an independent agency, every resource helps improve organization. For sales and rentals, I use high-performance tools:

  • High-end cameras and stabilizers are essential, 3D virtual tours allow remote immersion, and drones offer buyers a bird’s-eye view of the property.
  • On the management side, real estate software and CRM ensure precise tracking of properties, clients, and transactions.
  • Finally, multichannel promotion—via portals, social media, and newsletters—maximizes the property’s exposure.”

Real estate sales and purchases: case studies

Real estate advice: field expertise

“If a financially comfortable friend wanted to buy a secondary residence in French-speaking Switzerland in 2025, what advice would you give and which areas would you suggest?”

“If a financially comfortable friend wanted to buy a secondary residence in French-speaking Switzerland in 2025, what advice would you give and which areas would you suggest?”

“I would recommend locations combining quality of life, accessibility, and value potential: Lausanne surroundings, Lavaux, and some communes near the Vaud Alps remain highly attractive. I’d also advise checking cantonal regulations, validating the budget with mortgage brokers, being patient, and taking time to choose carefully.

Most importantly, I’d remind them how fortunate they are to be well supported in their search!”

Three remarkable real estate sales: adaptability is key!

Finally, let me share three extraordinary and recent real estate sales experiences that have been truly formative.

Fast and well: selling an apartment in Lausanne in 72 hours!

“Last week, I completed an express sale under ideal conditions: a studio sold in 72 hours!

This studio, ideally located in the center of Lausanne, had great potential: well laid out, bright, and close to all amenities, it was perfectly suited for an investor or a student. From the very first valuation, I advised the owner to adopt an attractive high-end positioning in order to target a niche clientele right from the moment it was listed online.

A targeted marketing strategy, an activated network ahead of time, and the property was visited by several people as early as the second day! In less than 48 hours, three serious offers were on the table. On the third day, after a final confirmation visit, the property was reserved. Within 72 hours, everything was concluded!

A swift, stress-free sale, the result of thorough preparation! A quality property offered at the right price, strong reactivity from both myself and the seller, and mutual trust: when all these elements come together, real estate transactions can move very fast… and very successfully.

Handling turbulent real estate transactions

Two months ago, after three weeks of visits, a firm offer was finally accepted, everyone was enthusiastic, and the sales agreement was being prepared. Suddenly, just a week before the signing, the buyer backed out without any valid reason. The seller was disappointed; everything had to start over.

A few days later, a buyer from my network came back to visit the property and made an even better offer. The deal was closed in the days that followed.

Real estate is also about this: emotional roller coasters that must be faced with calm, responsiveness, and unwavering professionalism, even in times of uncertainty.

Hands-off! A 100% digital sale in Nyon

This client, a Swiss investor based abroad, reached out to me with an unusual request: to acquire a building in Nyon without ever setting foot there. He knew the Swiss market well but did not want to waste time or deal with complex logistical procedures.

From our very first exchange, I understood the need to be straightforward, rigorous, and precise. I provided him with comprehensive documentation: detailed floor plans, rental history, tenancy status, as well as immersive videos of each apartment, the common areas, and the exterior. Everything was handled remotely: email and video conference exchanges, yield estimation, risk analysis, coordination with the fiduciary, and even the signing of the sales agreement before the notary… via video call!

Within just a few weeks, the purchase of the building was finalized without the buyer ever setting foot on site. This unusual yet highly rewarding experience proved to me that with rigor and transparency, a remote transaction can be just as smooth as a traditional sale!
